Today One-Ny and companion went to West Street Diner in Germantown for lunch. One-Ny ordered the country fried steak with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. One-Ny's companion had the southern fried chicken with turnip greens and mashed potatoes with gravy. Service was fast. Food was so so. Wasn't very hot, temperature wise. Each meal was $8.99...kind of pricey. Very average, nothing to write home about.

of the meal was $23.99 ($21.96 for the food & drinks + $2.03 for the tax). I had a
groupon coupon for $20.00. Cost of the groupon was
$10. Total out of pocket was $13.99.
