Sea Bistro & Sushi - December 22, 2011

Today One-Ny went to Sea Bistro & Sushi for lunch. He picked up an order of fried dumplings and 2 order of Drunken Noodles with Chicken. This was One-Ny's first Thai food experience. The order of 6 dumplings were delicious. The noodles were so so. Very oily and strong tasting. One-Ny still prefers Chinese noodles better.

...the delicious fried dumplings.

...the so so noodles.

Cost of the noodles was $7.50 each and the dumplings were $4.50. Grand total was $21.30 ($19.50 + $1.80 tax). I had a groupon coupon for $20. Cost of the groupon was $10. Total out of pocket was $11.30.

  1. The rice noodle itself taste very good without the drunken sauce. With the drunken sauce it tasted too thick and strong. It taste like some kind of shrimp paste mixed into the sauce. I am an Asian, typically a plain stir fried noodle with some chilli paste on the side will do the trick of a perfect Asian stir fried noodle. Not a big fan for this Drunken Thai noodles. But finished my portion though. :)

  2. The deep fried dumplings are not bad at all. It they can make it crispy like Shrimp or potato chips I'll give it five out of five stars!!
